Shane's Rib Shack Covington Serves Up Delicious BBQ at Taste of Newton

The Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce hosted A Taste of Newton, a food and business expo set from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15 at Porterdale Mill Lofts. Local restaurants offered samples of their product and merchandise while local businesses shared information and upcoming plans and concepts to new community members. Shane's Rib Shack supported the initiative of welcoming new community members by attending the event and offering samples of hand-chopped, slow smoked BBQ pork and chicken, and our signature homemade peach cobbler.
