Shane's Rib Shack Owner Thanked By Local Law Enforcement

  Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson and Major Scott Brunson of the Statesboro Police Department recently presented Olivia Aseron, owner of Shane's Rib Shack, with a plaque in appreciation of Shane's providing of lunch at no charge to taxpayers for a recent class held here in Statesboro. The class, "Below 100", was hosted by the Sheriff's Office, Statesboro P.D., and Georgia Southern University Police Dept and held at the Spring Hill Suites. It focused on officer safety issues and leadership and was attended by over 60 deputies and officers.

  Anderson and Brunson said “Without Olivia's assistance and the assistance of the management of the Spring Hill Suites, the class would not have been possible. We greatly appreciate community support of this kind.”
