Shane's Rib Shack Shining Blue in Support of National Autism Awareness Month!

In an effort to raise awareness and show support during the month of April, Austim Awareness Month, Shane's Rib Shack on Hwy 81 in McDonough, GA is "Lighting it up Blue". 

"Light It Up Blue", annually observed on April 2, is dedicated to raising awareness of autism. This initiative is intended to raise international awareness of autism in support of both World Autism Awareness Day and Autism Awareness Month in the United States.

Autism Speaks Walk
The nation's largest grassroots autism walk program, is Autism Speaks' signature fundraising and awareness event, taking place in communities across the United States, as well as in Canada. Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum and local businesses and companies that employ those on the spectrum, this successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
